THE CLASS OF 2010
The Class of 2010 is composed of members from across the country as well as foreign nationals and international students from countries like USA and Bhutan. The all-India entrance test conducted on 15th May 2005 saw over 3322 applicants vying to gain admission to this class for the prestigious 5-year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programme. Thus the ratio of a general category seat to persons was 1:60. On the basis of this highly competitive examination, a total of 80 students were admitted to the Class of 2010 strictly on the basis of merit, of which 56 belonged to the unreserved and 24 to the reserved category. 1 Student from USA was admitted on the basis of compliance with prescribed academic qualifications. In addition 7 students from Bhutan joined the class on scholarships from their country on the basis of academic excellence. The remaining 72 students come from 18 different states in the country. Our students seek to follow career paths as varied as their backgrounds, and there is no single description that can be used to typify a NALSAR student. What distinguishes our students and unites them, however, is their passion for excellence as evidenced by their many outstanding achievements, and their overarching goal of excellence.
